Greetings! I’m DJ Wayne Cribb
Welcome to my website, I am the founder and president of Premier DJ Entertainment. I am a single operative professional meaning that if you book with PDJE, I guarantee 110% that I will be your entertainer / DJ. I do not have a large stable of DJ’s that have a variety of professionalism, experience and pricing. I put forth all of my professionalism and experience into every event that I book and entertain. I am personally here to see that your event is a Premier Event.
As an entertainment director and professional wedding entertainer who travels all across the Carolinas, I provide much more than just innovative disc jockey service along the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand areas, I provide you with the very best entertainment for your budget dollar.
I write a weekly wedding blog on my Premier Blogging website www.PremierBlogging.net educating entertaining and informing Brides, Grooms and Wedding Vendors along the Carolina Coast.
MY BACKGROUND
I was born and raised here in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have always had a love for Music and started working in radio at the age of 17 while still in high school. After graduating, I enjoyed five great years in the U.S. Navy serving aboard three ships and working with the Armed Forces Radio Network. After the Navy, I returned home in 1994 and went back into radio. In 1996 I started promoting concerts and have worked with great National Acts like Tim McGraw, Kiss, Billy Joel & Elton John. Also in 1996 I entertained my first Wedding Reception. In 2001 I started my own mobile DJ business and it has been going strong ever since.
In 2010 I was ready to take my dedication to the business to the next level. I started learning everything possible about the wedding industry. I attended National DJ Conventions as well as going to area seminars and workshops. In 2011 I became the President of the American DJ Association - Charlotte Chapter and became a founding member of the ADJA - Raleigh/Durham Chapter. Also in 2011 I attended the ArmDJs convention in Johnson City, TN where I was honored to complete “The Professional Process” intensive training course by Mr. Peter Merry, Author of the excellent book “The Best Wedding Reception.....EVER”. In November 2011 I plan to attend Mr Merry’s “Make It Grand” 2-day Workshop on wedding party introductions.
2012 will be an exciting year for PDJE as I will returning my Hurricane Pool Parties back to the Ocean Isle Inn in Ocean Isle Beach, NC as well as the Landmark Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. I will be adding more exciting sound and dance lighting equipment to my catalog and adding more elegant lighting to Myrtle Beach Uplighting (See Page)
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I have been married to my wife Sarah since 2001 and I have five children (3 Boys and 2 Girls) As a Born Again Christian, We are proud members of First Baptist Church Surfide Beach.
When not entertaining or resting with my children, I love to travel and I am a big fan of Walt Disney. I collect Hard Rock Cafe Pins from around the World (and Disney pins too).
In 2004 I created a Non-Profit Charity Corporation called CFE For Kids, INC raising money for Local, Regional and National Children’s Charities. 10% of all PDJE Proceeds (Not Profits) benefit a variety of organizations each year. 2012 beneficiaries include: Ground Zero Christian Teen Club, American Cancer Society, Victory Junction Gang Camp, Special Olympics and Helping Hand Centers throughout Horry, Florence and Georgetown Counties.
