Greetings!My name is "DJ Hurricane" Wayne Cribb, I am the proud owner and operator of Premier DJ Entertainment, based in Myrtle Beach, SC. Along with my small staff of associate entertainers throughout all of North and South Carolina, I would like to personally welcome you to our web site. Personally, I have been a DJ since 1986 when I started in Radio as a teenager here in Myrtle Beach at a local Country Music Station (Big Yak Country / K Country 103). I opened up Gator 107.9 Country and 107.1 The Shark in the mid 90’s. From there I moved into Dance Clubs and then on to Concert Promoting. Finally in 2001, I started my own Mobile DJ Company called Memories & Dreams Entertainment.
After 6 years of a very fun, satisfying career and a sudden family tragedy, I felt the need to step away from the DJ business and take a well needed break. Through a bout with depression I turned my back on it and simply walked away. I sold all of my old DJ Equipment and not too long after, I started trying to put my life back together, I decided that I missed DJ’ing and wanted to get back into it. Not rushing into things too fast, I began to sit back and took myself “back to school” learning more and more about this industry and making the changes needed to be even better than I was before. I have learned a lot about the Mobile DJ Industry and how to be better, but mostly, I learned that I still love it and I love making people happy.  It is in my heart and that is something special that never, ever goes away. So in 2009, I came back in full swing with a brand new dedication, brand new equipment and a Brand New Name – Premier DJ Entertainment and our motto is “A Dedication to Entertainment Perfection”. We joined back with all of the great National Associations, Went to National Convention in Vegas to take more classes and less than a year later, we were nominated for the 2009 “Best of the Beach” Award for Wedding Businesses along the Grand Strand. Moving forward, 2010 has already proven that the hard work is paying off as I personally have 32 events booked throughout the year before March 1st. The busiest I have ever been and I love it.

We are not just another part-time mobile DJ service or a DJ Company with 5 different “company names” just to fool you. We are a professional entertainment company that does so much more than just spin records or play games for 3 hours. We are here for you, to entertain you and allow you the satisfaction of knowing that you hired the right company for your event.

Maybe it’s the music…Our sound is more life like. It sounds like a band, only better. A band is limited to the songs that they know to perform at your event. We bring over 17,000 song titles to every event and we allow you pick the songs that you want to hear! We take request and we will even play CD’s that you may have and want played! 98% of our music is EDITED and CLEAN for ALL Ages to enjoy.  

Maybe it’s the experience…We continue to educate ourselves everyday to better perfect ourselves on entertaining your event. We also continue to build professional, quality customer service that goes well beyond what you would expect from a DJ. We are current members of the American DJ Association, the National Association of Mobile Entertainers and Disc Jockey America (Home of The Love Story).

Maybe it’s our dedication…We live by a high standard of dedication to our guests to ensure that every client will receive the same great entertainment and service from start to finish, but with their own personal touch. We are not a DJ Stable that will book any and every DJ in the Phonebook, it starts with ME, DJ Hurricane and if I am available, I will work your event. If I am not able to entertain your event, I have a small staff of Great DJ Entertainers that I know will do a great job representing not only my company but representing you and your event. Maybe it’s because we give back…Every chance we get, Premier DJ Entertainment takes time to help Church, Charity & Civic Events in North and South Carolina to assist those in need or less fortunate. We donate our entertainment to fund raising affairs, we often entertain free events and a portion of ALL that we earn (Not Profit but actual Proceeds) go directly to Local, Regional and National Charities and it is not because we have to, it is because we want to! Some of the Charities that Premier is associated with include the March of Dimes, Children’s Miracle Network, McLeod Children’s Hospital, University of Virginia Children’s Hospital, CFE For Kids, Craven’s Heart and the Ronald McDonald House (Just to name a Few)
