Q. How much do you require for a deposit/retainer?
A. $150.00 is what we require to hold the date for your event. The balance is due 10 days prior to your event date.  
 
Q. Do offer a Discount if I pay the event if full at the time of booking?
A. YES! You will receive a 10% Discount if you pay for the event in full at the time of booking. We know that money is tight right now for everyone, especially when attempting to put together an event such as a Large Wedding or a Mitzvah so we try to make things a little easier on your wallet.
 
Q. What type of music will you be playing at our event?
A. The music we play is based upon the age of the crowd and on our own professional judgment as well as your personal request. Remember your event isn't the first one we've done! We know what gets people out on the dance floor. Of course we will play most reasonable requests that you or your guests may have; also any and all specialty dances for the bridal party are left up to you. You tell us what you want to hear and we play it. It is as simple as that. We also strive to work with you every step of the way; we will of course not play anything that you do not want us to play. With that being said, we will also make sure that we have precisely the music that you want played at your event. Customer service is our number one priority! 98% of our music is Edited Clean for all ages to enjoy – We are KID Friendly!

Q. Will my DJ have the most current hit singles?
A. Yes! As stated above, we subscribe to services made exclusively for Mobile DJ Entertainers. Every week we receive the hot new singles on CD usually before they are released to the public, therefore our music library is always up to date. This includes hits from the Adult Contemporary, Rock, Urban, Jazz, Country, Christian and Dance charts! We also have the latest and greatest Hip Hop Club Remixes so it will be just like the dance clubs. But, as an added bonus, we bring ALL of our music with us, even as far back at the 20’s. 
 
Q. Will I have to sign a contract when booking with Premier DJ Entertainment?
A. Yes, it is always best to sign a contract to protect yourself when booking a date. Make sure that you get a signed copy from your DJ as well for your records. We gladly provide you with a copy of the contract to read before you make your decision as we are committed to you feeling 100% comfortable with the Entertainment company you are hiring. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR DJ OFFERS A CONTRACT.
 
Q. What type of attire will the DJ be wearing?
A. Every event is different so we allow you tell us how you want us to dress. We can go with the Full Tuxedo down to Tommy Bahama “Island Wear” to High Energy Club Wear to simple Dress Pants & Collared Shirt. No matter what we wear to the event, we will never wear anything offensive or dirty. 
 
Q. What time will the DJ arrive for setup?
A. We ask to be able to arrive at least two (2) hours before the start of your event (Not the start of our services). But 2 hours is usually more than enough time for us to setup our equipment and do a full sound and lighting check. There is no charge for setup or the time that the equipment is not being used. This also allows us the chance to meet with your other vendors to go over the nights program so we can ensure that everyone works together as a team.
 
Q. What type of equipment will you be using?

A. We use ONLY State-Or-The-Art Professional DJ Equipment (Pioneer & Numark CD Players, JBL Powered Speakers, Mac Book Pro and HP Laptops) just to name a few).We have different equipment for different events. We want to look professional because you will have photographs of this event for years to come.   
 
Q. Do you provide back-up equipment?

A. Yes we do, we carry a replacement for each piece of sound equipment, everything from extra speakers right down to cables and extension cords, no worries!
 
Q. Do you accept Tips?
A. Yes we do, and usually 10-15% is customary. You pay this directly to the DJ at the end of the event. You may pay by Cash or Check if you wish.
 
Q. Are you available to play over the scheduled ending time?

A. Yes we can, but it is at the sole discretion of your DJ. The only way to guarantee a longer time is to book it in advance (Before the event date). If the DJ is available to play over for you, a charge of $75.00 per half hour (30 minutes) will be added and must be paid directly to the DJ at the end of the event by either Cash or Check.
 
Q. Are you available to Charity Events as well as Civic Organizations & Schools?
A. Yes, it is a well known Fact that Premier DJ Entertainment deeply believes in supporting and giving back to Local, Regional and National Charities. That is why Premier DJ Entertainment proudly provides our services for Charity, School and Community fundraising events, often times at no charge at all. For those that give so much, we like to give a little back, just to say Thanks. In the past, Premier DJ Entertainment has entertained for the Children’s Miracle Network, March of Dimes, McLeod Children’s Hospital, Waccamaw Art Guild, The National Lukemia and Lymphoma Society, CFE For Kids and the Boy & Girls Clubs of America.

A . Real professional DJ entertainers train each year or better yet, EVERY DAY. Some use books and on line subscriptions to magazines/websites. Seminars and conventions offer some of the best training with the countries top professionals. 01 – We will arrive at your event in time to be moved in, set up and in place before your guests arrive. Normally that is around two hours prior to the start of your event for setup and sound check. Please understand that Professional Sound Gear and Lighting Equipment require more than just a few minutes to setup. If you are talking to a DJ that can do it in less time or says that he will be there by the start time, "Buyer Beware" I want everything in place and my music playing when your 1st guests arrive for the event. Please understand that we can not be held liable to conditions beyond our control (IE: Traffic/Road Conditions/Work, Ferry Schedules, Inclement Weather, Etc) in this matter, we will contact you as soon as we are able to and get there as soon as we can. If we are unfortunate enough not to make it, we will refund you 100% of all money paid to us.  
 
02 – We will always be clean and dressed appropriately to your specific request. I understand that this should go without saying but you just never know.
 
03 – Other than an emergency situation, the DJ that we send to you will be the DJ that entertains your event. I strongly believe that your event deserves our full attention and that is exactly what you will get. There are other "Companies" who try to hire every DJ in town and offer you different prices for each person and in fact, that "same" company may have different "company" names and websites to try and fool you, the customer, just to get your business, but to me, that is not right and I will not do that. If you book with us, you will know from the start who your DJ will be. 
 
04 – Once Booked (Signed Contract and Deposit Paid) I will personally return all of your calls and E-mails in a timely manor (Within a few hours but usually no later than 36 hours). Making it easy to work with us is one of our main goals and it makes our clients feel secure that they hired the right DJ company. Take a look at our testimonials and you will see that people appreciate good Customer Service.
 
05 – I will follow your Event Planner and Time Line as closely as possible. Your event deserves a true professional DJ / MC to keep things going smoothly and on time. With that being said, as long as you are happy with the flow of things, you may alter the plans according to the flow of your event. Things are always able to change with your approval. This also includes your music request lists that we provide you. You have the option to choose songs that are tagged as “Must Play List” and we guarantee that those songs WILL be played (limited to only 10). There is a list of “Please Play if Possible” and these songs will be added if time and the crowd allows. Then, there is the “Do Not Play List” (This list is unlimited) which is about as important as the “Must Play List” to some people and these songs will NOT be played.
 
06 – We will not take breaks or walk away from our equipment beyond what is necessary. We are there are to do a job and we will do it. We do not play games during your event if you didn’t ask for them. We will be the DJ that you want us to be.
 
07 – I will have backup sound equipment in case of a malfunction. Backup equipment will always be with us “Just In Case” Again, you need to make sure that other DJ Entertainers that you contact will agree in writing that they will have backup equipment on hand at your event. In the event the music goes out, we do require 45 minutes from the time the music goes out to get some form of music back up and playing. 
 
08 – We will always do our best to cater to your requests and needs. It is not easy sometimes, but we do try and will do what we can to honor your requests and needs. To guarantee this is to have it in writing 14 days prior to your event date.
  
09 – We will not intentionally do or say anything that is obviously inappropriate or insulating to you or any of your guests.
 
10 – Premier DJ Entertainment understands that problems / changes sometimes occur unexpectedly. We will happily move your booking date, location and times if a new date is available.

This “Premier Promise Guarantee of Quality” is extended to you and your event at no additional cost or obligation. If you are talking with a DJ service that will not Guarantee their service with a Money Back Promise in writing, Please Be Cautious!

If we fail to uphold any of the 10 promises listed above, I will personally refund your paid deposit back to you within 30 days.
